Chubb Group Luncheon An Affair of Hats

Honoring its Newport clients, the Chubb Group, which insures the
International Tennis Hall of Fame, put on a luncheon during Tennis
Week and gave out its signature straw hats.

Mark Stenning, International Hall of Fame Director, praised the company for its swift action after a 1998 fire in the 1880 historic McKim, Mead & White structure, and thanked them for arriving within a week with a check fo $1 million to begin immediate restoration.

Dining on poached salmon, rare roast beef, salads, and divine chocolate treats were Ron Fleming, Jae French, Richard Nelson, Judy Cutler and Lawrence Cutler, and Edwin and Dottie Sheffield.
