It was billed as a “Trunk Show” aboard the 125’ yacht Lady Broward, but, as is always the case with events hosted by Club owner Brian O’Neill, it became a party on the lawn, a shopping extravanga under a tent, and a fantasy sunset aboard a fabulous yacht.
Members and invited guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails a la campagne, as the host spoke with Rick Bready, Tom Fair, and Lloyd and Harriet Granoff.

Three Golden Apples jewelers of Newport displayed a case of exquisite jewelry, and Joan Martin considered a pair of elegant sapphire earrings from pre-1943, asking questions of Dan MacDonald about the provenance and gem quality, while husband Bill Martin looked on,

Isoude, a custom gown line that recently opened a shop on Bellevue Avenue, exhibited racks of designer clothing, exceptional for the luxurious fabrics and detailing. Guests included Tessa Strzalkowski, Rosie Field, Ashley Barone, and Lauren Stanek. Katie Brierley, the Isoude designer, displayed the couture clothing. William Rudkin, of Merle Wood & Associates, who provided the Lady Broward, spoke with Amy Rose and Bill Canning on the lawn at sunset.
