Johnny Carson’s Yacht at Brown & Howard VIP Event

The Mary Alice II at anchor at Brown & Howard Wharf

A collection of exceptional yachts, including the late Johnny Carson’s Mary Alice II, luxurious cars, and waterfront condominiums were on view at The Residences & Marina at Brown & Howard Wharf last weekend.

The Mary Alice II is valued at a mere $20 million. The just-completed luxury residences at Brown & Howard Wharf, for far less, with far more square footage.

Guests entered on a red carpet, the fabulous cars on the right. The private viewing was highlighted by fine paintings of John MacGowan and exceptional nautical photographs of Billy Black. Visitors were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres by Spark Catering, and wines, vodka, and premium beer.  Grenon’s of Newport displayed Cartier watches and other fine jewelry.

Touring the  the Mary Alice II, a 130-foot floating mansion, guests relaxed in the salon and admired the on-deck spa and gracious dining room,
decorated with 19th century naturical oil paintings.

A model condominum, designed by Carol Swift of Swift-Morris Interiors,
brought admiration and interest.  Hostess Stacie Mills, along with Kevin O’Leary, and Michelle Aumann were tour guides, as sailors lounged on the decks of their yachts in the Marina, and a musician entertained
