The Tower at Carnegie Abbey Opens with Fabulous Pool Party

Altering the Narragansett Bay skyline and creating a new architectural standard near historic Newport, Rhode Island, the stunning Tower at the Carnegie Abbey Club opened Saturday night with a creative black tie cocktail party.

Brian O’Neill beamed at guests and toured them through the luxurious public rooms.

Guests watched the sunset from the spectacular 6700+ square foot penthouse
and the balconies, with breathtaking views of Narragansett Bay.

Attended by 200 people, the party rocked to the music of and Decades by Dezyne, sipped Grey Goose vodka, enjoyed cigars by Cigar Masters, and saw a giant cake replicating the Tower and cabanas, created by Ace of Cakes of the Food Network, delighted guests such as Lee and Amy Warner, Lloyd and Harriet Granoff, Heather Savoie, Kathy (Mrs. Anthony) Quinn, designer of the elegant poolside blue-and-white cabana Ally Coulter, mega realtor Melanie Delman, John Qua, Suzanne Schutte, and Betty Moore, publisher of Builder/Architect, who handed out copies of as special edition of the magazine devoted to The Tower and The Carnegie Abbey Club.

There was a wager on about how many people would end up in the pool before the end of the festivities. One did, but the winner remained unannounced.
