Linda Phillips, President and Founder of Phillips Communications, parent company of NewportSeen.com, is an affiliated partner of Roskelly Inc. for public and media relations. Phillips Communications recently celebrated its 22nd year in business. Thomas C. Roskelly founded Roskelly, Inc. in order to meet client demands for high-end, brand-focused product by instilling into each project a fresh perspective and provocative solutions. Prior to setting up his own company, Mr. Roskelly’s career has spanned 20+ years as the creative force behind marketing/advertising firms in Newport, RI; New York City; Los Angeles and Florida. Amanda Grosvenor, A born-and-raised Newporter, Amanda possesses an innate connection to the City by the Sea and its sundry denizens. After growing up living year-round on Aquidneck island, she left to earn an English degree from Harvard University. Afterwards, she spent  two years living in New York City, where she completed the summer publishing course at the Columbia School of Journalism, and worked in two marketing positions. Longing for the sea air,  she returned  to Rhode Island, and spent two years working in hospitality marketing. Her lifelong love for both Newport and the written word has led Amanda to Newport Seen, where she will be contributing to  writing, copyediting, website maintenance, photography, and launching new technology and online initiatives to expand the site's exposure.

 


 

 

Marion Laffey Fox is an author, writer and stylist whose work has appeared in many international publications from the Tatler Travel Guide, Town & Country and Architectural Digest to Forbes FYI, Travel & Leisure, Brides and Vogue. She was a senior Contributing Editor of Southern Accents, and Contributing Editor of Coastal Living and Entrée magazines. The University of Pennsylvania graduate studied at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is a guide in the Fairmount Park Houses and has lectured and written extensively about antiques and architecture. She has appeared on television and radio talk shows in the US and UK. The author of “Philadelphia. World Class!” recently interviewed Prince Albert of Monaco, Sir Richard Branson and John Hardy, the jewelry designer in Bali. Maddy Holloway, born in New York City has been living in Newport for several years. She is a senior at Pomfret School, a private boarding school in Pomfret, CT. Maddy is involved in Pomfret's school newspaper, The Pontefract, where she showcases her editing and writing skills as one of the paper's executive editors. Maddy is planning on majoring in Journalism in college and has aspirations to be a journalist someday. She is excited about interning at Newport Seen and the experience and knowledge she will gain as a result.
